Riding on a Highway

Ride For Your Flag (RFYF) -Alumni Project

"RFYF Alumni Project", is the first project in our "Quantified Meditation in Motion" series designed to quantify the human experience through movement. The study involves capturing EEG data from our Veteran motorcycle riders over the course of 14 days, where we will be providing them the opportunity of a scenic journey across the land they so proudly protected. This unique initiative combines the original intention of Chris Briley's Organization, Ride For Your Flag (RFYF), with advanced neuroscience to quantify the benefits that RFYF Alumni attested to and in turn support the overall goal of self-regulation of the central nervous system.

Our Initiative

By measuring improvements in mental health symptoms and enhancing self-regulation of the central nervous system, we aim to provide alternative, non-pharmacological solutions for those dealing with mental struggles.

Captain Chris Briley's unwavering dedication to supporting veterans with mental health and substance abuse issues forms the heart and soul of this project. After serving his country with honor as a Captain in the Marine Corps, Chris transitioned to the business world, where his skills and determination drove remarkable success in various entrepreneurial ventures; among those was the organization he co-founded, called Ride For Your Flag (RFYF), a movement to empower veterans with the space to bond together and create healthier alternatives to dealing with their mental health.

His professional achievements were only a part of his legacy. Chris found his greatest joy as a devoted husband and father, cherishing his family above all else and instilling in his children the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance. Known for his infectious spirit, Chris's warmth and laughter drew people to him, lighting up every room he entered.

His vision for helping veterans stems from his profound commitment to his fellow servicemen and women, aiming to offer them the same unwavering support and love he gave to his own family. Chris's absence is deeply felt, but his mission lives on through this project, dedicated to exploring the therapeutic potential of motorcycle riding for mental health, a testament to his enduring legacy and compassionate spirit.
